This was the second release from the Foursquare Exceptional Cask Series, the Foursquare Port Cask Finish 9-year-old rum has undergone a meticulous aging process. Initially aged in traditional Bourbon casks for 3 years, it then embarked on a second maturation journey in Port casks for an additional 6 years. This unique dual-cask aging technique imparts layers of complexity and rich flavors to the rum.

The result is a harmonious fusion of the inherent character of Foursquare rum with the exquisite nuances derived from the Port cask finish. With a delightful ABV of 40%, this Foursquare expression promises a captivating and flavorful experience that showcases the artistry and dedication of the Foursquare Distillery.

Referred to as the “Pappy of Rum” by Bourbon historian, and author of “Rum Curious” Fred Minnick - Foursquare is consistently ranked as one of the most influential and desired distilleries in the world of Rum. Foursquare Rum Distillery is located on a former sugar plantation that dates back to approximately 1720, within the tiny Caribbean island of Barbados. The distillery was re-opened by the Seale family in 1996. Distilling operations and blending are currently directed by Richard Seale, 4th Generation Trader/Distiller of R.L. Seale & Co.

Exceptional Cask Selections represent the unique, and rare offerings of Foursquare Rum Distillery that Richard has hand-selected, his personal aging experiments only released when he feels they are of exceptional quality.
